In January of this year I had the great honour of speaking at the AIGA event ‘Compostmodern ’11’ in San Francisco. The event was really inspiring and featured people like Yves Behar talking about the great work he and his team does at Fuse Project, Bruce Mau talking about his desire for taking low cost education to scale, and other inspiring speakers.

Here’s my talk about collaborative design for social good. I focus on OpenIDEO mostly, but also talk about some of the emerging areas in which technology is enabling us to work together to become aware, comprehend, discuss, find solutions to, and act upon the shared problems we face.
